The Ren community has proposed and voted to change the bridging fees with Ren, which now have been implemented 🤝
Mint: 0.20% (prev. 0.36%)
Burn: 0.10% (prev. 0.07%)
Proposal and results:
Coming up, Ren will also release a new transaction type that lets you bridge already wrapped assets like renBTC to other chains in one go without having to burn first and wrap again.
This transaction type is called burn-and-mint, and when live will have the fee set at 0.05% 🔀
